Description

A classic Alto Piemonte blend from Colline Novaresi. “Mot” means hill and “Zilflon” means song of the Robin. Varietals are harvested at different times and macerated separately for 15 days. Natural fermentation in stainless steel with no added yeast. 20 months ageing in 30hL Slavonian oak, 6 months in bottle before release. No filtering, 3000 bottles produced. The flagship wine of the estate, heavier clay soil gives nice structure with notes of red berries, violet and spice.
