From a single vineyard, Teufelspfad (“Devil’s Path”) site is the prime location and the oldest vines. A 12 week spontaneous fermentation in steel tank and 600L barrel. Suitable for 15+ years in cellar. Notes of spice and citrus on both the nose and palate. A deep, complex Riesling of engaging energy and minerality.

Firmly woven, ripe, rather juicy, noble fruit, lively, fine acidity, some grip of crumbly tannin, herbal flavours, a touch of juniper in the background, persistent, some depth, medium power, distinct, bright minerality, has energy, very good, tight, juicy, mineral and herbal finish with ethereal traces.”
