Description

From the Estate label, this is a blend from several vineyards and several soils. Spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks and 1200L barrels with two months ageing on lees. Suitable for 5+ years in cellar. Pale yellow in the glass, with aromas of lime, yellow apple and dried apricot. Crisp acidity, minerality and the typical citrus fruit unfold on the palate. A great introduction to Braunewell’s approach to produce wines that are “salty and quivering” and “less relaxed” than many Rheinhessen wines.
