93+ Falstaff: “Attractively cool on the nose. Complex aromas of dark cherry, orange zest, elderflower, cranberry and tea leaf. Bright red fruit on the palate with a floral component and chalkiness, fine tannin with integrated acidity. Underpinned minerality, long finish. Great wine.”

95 James Suckling: “Captivating dark aromas of elderberry, liquorice and old balsamic vinegar with just a whiff of smoke. Compact and concentrated on the medium-bodied palate, in spite of just 12.5% alcohol. Excellent length, the finish positively dry, also thanks to the lively acidity that keeps the structured finish bright and precise. A little aeration in the glass opens this up nicely.”
